Office of Enforcement and Removal Operations honored Sheriff Conway and his 287(g) staff for receiving no deficiencies during their 2015 Office Of Professional Responsibility inspection, referring to the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office as a "valued partner in ensuring community safety and furthering national security."
Gwinnett Neighborhood Leadership Institute (GNLI)
Sheriff Conway has received recognition for being a GNLI Program Sponsor. His office participates every year in Great Days of Service by providing volunteers to perform community service for local non-profit organizations.
Public Safety Leadership Award
Sheriff Conway received the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Public Safety Leadership Award in 2013 for his longstanding dedication to law enforcement.
Freedom Team Salute
Sheriff Conway was honored by US Army Secretary Francis J. Harvey and US Army Chief of Staff General Peter J. Schoomaker for his outstanding support saying, "The Army greatly appreciates his support and is proud to recognize his contributions and personal sacrifices in preserving freedom and the security of our Nation."
Humane Law Enforcement Award
The Humane Society of the United States and the National Sheriff's Association proudly honored Sheriff Conway with the Humane Law Enforcement Award in 2015 for his leadership in combating animal abuse.
Volunteer of the Decade
Sheriff Conway received the Volunteer of the Decade Award in 2015 for his many years of service on the board of Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful. He has implemented several programs within the sheriff's office to recycle and conserve our resources.
Public Service Award
Sheriff Conway was recognized by the Gwinnett Chamber with the Public Service Award for his "dedication to law enforcement and his outstanding service to the progress and development of the community."
Scott Hudgens Distinguished Citizen Award
The Northeast Georgia Council Boy Scouts of America presented Sheriff Conway with the Scott Hudgens Distinguished Citizen Award in 2014 for his "outstanding and dedicated service to Gwinnett County."

The executive board of Conservative Women of North Atlanta recognized Sheriff Conway for his "sincere and lasting commitment to keep our community safe, counter the threat of terrorism and enforce our immigration laws."
